Delicious! 👍😊 It was my first time on the island of Föhr and the restaurant spoke to me straight away. With the cozy furnishings and the beautiful inner courtyard, it is very homely and cozy. The service is very kind and friendly, and extra requests are also accepted. The food is delicious. The pollack fillet and the waffles are particularly recommended. I can only recommend it, it's worth visiting!

October 24, 2020 We had reserved a table, which is a must nowadays. The service was very friendly. 👍😷 The food was plentiful and very tasty👍🍽️🤗. Unfortunately, I had to order a salad 🥗 extra, which I think is not okay for the price-performance ratio 💶. 😔😔😔 I think a salad goes with the meal at the price. Maybe you should think about it? 🤔🤔🤔 But it is definitely worth a visit .... 😊👍😊👍😊👍

I've been coming with my family for years and it's my absolute favorite restaurant on Föhr! The ambience is great and not to mention the service, which is great anyway. In addition, the food is also great👌👌

We come a couple of times every vacation. Everyone is friendly and the food is great. We recommend!

The quality of the food was okay, the prices a bit overpriced. The staff were friendly. What we asked ourselves, however, is why we didn't have to fill out a slip of our contact details. In addition, none of the employees wore mouth and nose protection. Although the minimum distance when applying the food could not be guaranteed. And that during Corona times where there are regulations. We simply deduct points for this.

We visited this restaurant yesterday for afternoon coffee and a piece of cake. (Was advertised outside). Unfortunately, the coffee didn't taste particularly good and the cake was most likely frozen. There was a handwritten note from the notepad as a "receipt". Overall not a positive experience. We will not come back.

The reservation by phone worked fine. The menu is optionally also contactless via the free WiFi. Plaice, schnitzel, and crabs were great. Service very friendly and the espresso good too - especially the pastries. A little higher in price but OK.

Unfortunately a very unfriendly service. We had reserved a table by email the first time, but we never received an answer to this email Bund when we came by in person we were told very rudely that the email had never arrived. We then reserved a table outside for another evening, this time directly with a waitress. When we came that evening they didn't have a table outside and we were referred to a table inside with the words "take this table or none". Then went to happy Matthias. We'll never go to the whale again!

Very tasty and well prepared food. Staff very nice. The prices are quite high, but that's not so unusual for fish. Make a reservation in any case, otherwise it will be difficult or even impossible with a table. Clear recommendation!

Reserved at 6pm. Been there on time and the table has just been reassigned. The response was very unfriendly. It rained heavily, so we had to look for an alternative with 2 children in the rain. There was no excuse. Definitely anything but customer friendly.

The waiting time was 50 minutes, if you're hungry it's not that great. I also don't want to download the menu on my cell phone because I don't have a cell phone with me when I go out to eat. The cod was really excellent, the girls friendly and courteous. With a little more routine, it can be a very good restaurant

Super nice restaurant. Great fish dishes. No pre-order possible. But you can wait next door in the caffe bar for a small drink until you get the table you want from the restaurant. Great idea. Had 8.2019 salmon filet unfortunately with a too thick breading. The small salad was good. Because of the heat we sat in the back where it is nice. Staff very nice.

A perfect experience. Nice courtyard, friendly service. Super delicious food. Definitely try: Matjes Danish style! An unqualified recommendation!
